Boat removal

Boat removal from land or water

If you have a boat you no longer want, we can take it away. On a trailer in the driveway, on blocks in the yard, in a storage lot, or tied up at a dock. Boats up to 100 feet.

Where we remove boats from

Most boats we’re asked about are in one of these places. If yours is somewhere else, call and describe it.

On land

  • Driveways and side yards
  • Backyards and lawns
  • Storage lots and boat yards
  • Business and commercial property
  • Vacant lots

In the water

  • Private docks behind homes
  • Marinas and slips
  • Canals and waterways
  • Boats that have sunk

Common reasons people call

  • The boat hasn’t run in years and repairs would cost more than it’s worth
  • You bought or inherited a property with a boat on it
  • The HOA, city or landlord wants it gone
  • You’re moving and the boat isn’t coming with you
  • A marina or storage yard is clearing out boats that owners left behind

Abandoned and derelict boats

Boats get left behind. A tenant moves out, an owner stops paying for storage, or a boat sits in a lot until the weeds grow over it. Property managers, HOAs, marinas and storage yards call us to clear these boats.

Before an abandoned boat can be removed, the person asking needs the right to have it removed. That may mean the owner’s permission, or the steps the law sets out for boats left on your property. If you’re not sure where you stand, check with your local authorities before you book a removal.

We don’t handle title or bill of sale paperwork.

What we need from you

Send these with the quote form, or have them ready when you call.

  • Who owns the boat, if it isn’t you
  • The address or ZIP code where the boat is
  • The boat’s length and type, as close as you know
  • Whether it is on land or in the water, and on a trailer or not
  • A few photos: both sides, the hull, and the way in to the boat
  • Confirmation that you own the boat or have the right to have it removed

Questions about boat removal

Does the boat need to be on a trailer?

No. Tell us whether it has a trailer when you ask for a quote, and send a photo of how it is sitting. That helps us plan the job.

Can you take the trailer too?

Ask when you request your quote and include a photo of the trailer.

Do I need to be there on the day?

Tell us when you book. The person who arranges the removal needs to make sure we can get to the boat.
