Vessel salvage

Vessel salvage for damaged and unwanted boats

When a boat is too damaged to fix, or no longer worth keeping, it still has to be dealt with. We recover damaged vessels from land and water and take them away.

Boats we salvage

  • Boats with hull damage or holes
  • Boats that are partly flooded or sitting low in the water
  • Boats with failed engines that will never run again
  • Boats that have been stripped or left to rot
  • Larger vessels that need to be broken down before they can be moved

Salvage, wreck removal or sunken boat removal?

They overlap, so here is how we use the words. Salvage is for damaged or unwanted boats that are still mostly in one piece. Wreck removal is for boats broken up by a storm or a collision. Sunken boat removal is for boats that are under water.

You don’t need to pick the right one. Describe the boat and send photos, and we’ll work out what the job needs.

Large boats

Some boats are too big or too damaged to move in one piece. In those cases the boat may be broken down where it sits, with the parts loaded and hauled away. We take boats up to 100 feet.

What we need from you

Send these with the quote form, or have them ready when you call.

  • What happened to the boat, if you know
  • The address or ZIP code where the boat is
  • The boat’s length and type, as close as you know
  • Whether it is on land or in the water, and on a trailer or not
  • A few photos: both sides, the hull, and the way in to the boat
  • Confirmation that you own the boat or have the right to have it removed

Questions about vessel salvage

Is salvage free if the boat has parts worth something?

Salvage is a paid service. The quote is free, and the price depends on the boat’s size, condition and where it is.

The boat is half full of water. Can you still take it?

Yes, send photos and tell us whether it is on land or in the water. If it has gone under, see sunken boat removal.
